Certain people may not have got that success or admiration for their work but they still manage to hold with their charm. Mallika Sherawat is surely in that list. Mallika is not from a film industry. She has worked hard and made her own name is Bollywood. She did start her career in Television serials then as supporting actress in movies then to a leading heroine. Once she played a supporting heroine to Kareena Kapoor but today she is giving same Kareena competition. Her first success was 'Khwaish' with Himanshu. The movie is more remembered for 17 smooches and few hot scenes. Next was 'Murder', which made her instant star. The movie was big success and the complete credit went to her. She stole the show. She was more in news for her bindaas attitude then her movies. She was into more controversies. We need to give credit to her and one of first Indian actress to work with Action King Jackie Chan. It may have been a small role but its an big achievement. She was very choosy about her work. Her movie 'Shaadi Se Pehle' with Akshaye Khanna and 'Bachke Rahena Baba' with Rekha did not do well at box office. Her next movie 'Pyar Ke Side Effects' did well and was apperciated. Her pairing with Rahul Bose was good and they showed good onscreen chemistry.

Last Year, her item number in Maniratnam's 'Guru' was big hit. She was also part of superhit film 'Welcome'. Her pairing with Nana Patekar was really good. Her choice of movies have not been typical bollywood movies. She is ruled by her heart. She has also been part of few regional films. Her forthcoming releases are 'Ugly aue Pagli', 'Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam' and 'Fauj Mein Mauj'.The promos of 'Ugly aur Pagli' and 'Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam' are very intresting and looks both the films could be successful at box office. She is the real sex bomb and very intelligent lady. You will always enjoy watching her interviews. She is a great talker and has great sense of humour.
